Metro de Santiago bets on virtual reality to train its team

Four people at the Metro de Santiago offices; two of them hold gold Yoy trophies for 1,000 training sessions.

Metro de Santiago is one of the most highly regarded organizations among people in Chile. That recognition is no accident. It is the result of steady work that puts the growth and well-being of the people who keep the city moving every day at the center.

We are proud to be part of that process.

A visit to recognize a job well done

On October 21, our team visited Metro de Santiago with a clear goal: to recognize the remarkable work they are doing by bringing new technologies into their staff training.

Metro has decided to add virtual reality to its training processes, a move that shows innovation does not stop at infrastructure or service, but also reaches the way people learn and prepare for their work.

Why does virtual reality change the way we train?

Virtual reality training lets people practice in immersive, safe environments. Situations can be repeated as many times as needed, and people learn by doing, without the risks or costs of training in the field. In an organization as complex as Metro, where safety and precision are essential, tools like these are especially valuable.

Thank you for your trust

This progress would not be possible without people who believe in innovation and drive it from within. We especially want to thank Marco Berdichevsky Bizama, Francisca Bermeosolo, Cristian Astete and Jorge Fadic for their trust and for the push they have given virtual reality training at Metro.

Moving forward together

Seeing an organization as important as Metro de Santiago embrace new ways of learning motivates us to keep working so that technology serves people.

Congratulations to the whole Metro team!
